High Medieval Knightly Sword with scabbard, practical blunt, SK-C

Battle-ready reconstruction of a high-medieval, one-handed knightly sword. Its most outstanding feature is the particular shape of its pommel - a variation of the brazilnut-shaped pommel (13th century according to Oakshott's classification).

The sword is crafted by hands only. The guard and the brazilnut-shaped pommel are made of cast iron. The spring steel blade is oil-tempered up to approx. 48° Rockwell, forged to the hilt and peened with the pommel. The wooden grip is leather-covered. The blade has a distinctive fuller, which offers both flexibility and lightness. The blade tip and the edges are blunt and rounded.

The sword comes with a leather-wrapped wooden scabbard equipped with a wooden belt loop (max. belt width: 5 cm)
