A surcoat - also called coat of arms skirt, weapon dress or coat of arms dress - is a garment related to the Tabbard, which the medieval knight wore over his armor. This garment was often marked with a heraldic marking or the coat of arms of the wearer in the Middle Ages and has now become a symbol of the crusaders and crusades of yesteryear in the collective memory of mankind. In this category you will find a selection of surcoats for knights without religious affiliation, as well as models for the representation of the more well known crusaders such as Templars, Knights of the German Order or Knights of St. John.
