The Honshu Broadsword represents a modern spin on a proven, time-tested sword design with sleek, rugged tactical engineering and perfect blade-to-hilt balancing. It has a razor-sharp, 33 3/8” 1060 high carbon steel blade that has a partial blood groove, which leads up to the hefty traditional handguard. The rugged TPR hilt gives you a no-slip grip and both handguard and pommel are satin-finished stainless steel. The 43 1/2" overall length broadsword fits securely in a black wooden scabbard that includes a leather belt hanger. Honshu continues to expand its exceptional sword line and this sleek, tactical broadsword is a must-have for your collection!

Great value and quality finish
Good steel with very good temper and high quality finish. The included scabbard is also good quality and grabs the blade firmly at the ricasso. The blade is noticably heavy due to its dimensions and lack of distral taper, but the balance is excellent thanks to the hefty pommel. Downside is the small-ish M6 thread welded to the tang which mounts the pommel, this is know have a chance of snapping when hitting (very) hard targets. The hilt can be easily removed, even though there is some (unnecessary) hot glue, so repairs and/or re-hilts can be done without issue. For the price it is very good! Very well packaged also by battlemerchange, danke!
