This late medieval one-handed sword is inspired by Hans Talhoffer, a famous 15th-century German swordsman and fencing master.
The unsharpened blade with hollow-ground cross section is made of hardened and tempered EN45 high carbon steel. It has a rounded tip and thick blunted edges for safety. The cross guard and pommel are crafted from steel and the wooden grip is bound in leather. The blade tang is peened to the pommel. Delivery includes a wooden scabbard overlaid in leather and adorned with an etched Knights Templar shield with cross pattée on one side of the throat section.
This sword is ideal for light stage combat, re-enactment or decorative purposes.
