This Viking hairpin is based on an original find from the settlement of Hedeby (Haithabu), the most significant Viking trading venue on the Jutland peninsula (close to the town of Schleswig, once on Danish territory and now in northern Germany).
This replica with an elaborately designed dragon head can be used as a hairpin for updos or as a needle to close cloaks.

Habe die Nadel Messingfarben bestellt. Sie fühlt sich super stabil und wertig an Optisch wie Nessing. Ist nicht zu leicht und schön dick. Laut Beschreibung ist die Nadel ein Zamakguss, was gut, ist, da es eine hohe Festigkeit und Härte hat. Habe nämlich noch eine andere Haarnadel aus billigen weichem Material die sich ständig verbiegt. Diese Drachennadel gefällt mir von der Form -Stabilität viel besser. Das Design ist einfach toll! Kann mit der Länge der Nadel alle Haare am Kopf hochstecken und der Nadelkopf guckt dekorativ oben raus.
