This coin purse, called Geldkatze in German -presumably derived from the Old High German word chazza (carrying container/pouch)- is made of soft nappa leather and is large enough for a handful of coins. It can be securely closed by means of two sliding metal rings.
The purse is designed to be carried over the belt, with one flap on either side showing respectively inwards and outwards. The belt pouch is suitable for both medieval re-enactment and LARP.
