This simple hair clip made of strong cowhide is made in the style of the Viking Age. It´s closed with a bone pin with dragon head motif, which is based on a model from the Viking settlement of Hedeby (Haithabu).
However, the approx. 13 cm long pin can also be used individually, for example as a hairpin for updos or as a needle for closing cloaks. The Viking hairpin has a hole spacing of approx. 8 cm, which makes it perfect for thicker and fuller hair.
Whether at medieval markets, Viking gatherings, re-enactment events, or simply in modern everyday life, this Viking jewellery is always the perfect accessory for your hair or garb.
This hairclip is available in black or brown.
