Militia Templi Sword with Scabbard

This beautiful medieval sword engraved with Templar symbols is not an exact replica of an original find but rather a tribute to the Knights Templar.

The templar sword features a double-edged blade that tapers toward the tip. A fuller runs along almost its entire length and is engraved with a Templar cross on both sides. The brass crossguard is also engraved with Templar crosses. The black, leather-wrapped wooden grip ends in a sturdy disc-shaped pommel, which is adorned with bottony (trefoil) crosses.

This sword comes complete with a black wood-and-leather scabbard with steel throat, chape, middle band and articulated suspension rings. The chape and throat are also adorned with brass decorations.

Please note that this medieval sword is not a battle-ready weapon. It is designed as a collector's or decoration/display piece and is not suited for combat re-enactment- Besides its quality as a collectible, it is also perfectly suited as a prop, e.g. to complete your costume.

The steel used here is not rust-proof and might show slight surface tarnishing in places. We recommend you to maintain the blade on a regular basis, for example using Ballistol Universal Oil, which is ideally suited for steel care.
