A beautiful reproduction of the famous sword assumed to have been carried by the Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I. in the Battle of Guinegate in 1513.
Due to the fact that the French cavalry stampeded from the battlefield in utter confusion, this battle is also known as the Battle of the Spurs.
Our replica features a beautiful bone hilt. The grip rings, the disc-shaped pommel and the distinctive guard (bent towards the blade) are made of solid brass. Locket and chape of the matching leather scabbard are made of brass as well.
