Viking cloak clasp made of bronze in the shape of two dragons
A two-part robe clasp that can be joined together, crafted in the Viking Age Urnes style that depicts two dragons. The clasp is made of bronze and is sewn onto the clothing via the attached eyelets.
The Urnes style is the last of the 6 known Viking Age styles that persisted until the beginning of the 12th century. Urnes replaced the Ringerike style in the middle of the 11th century. This style was named after a small Norwegian town on the Lustrafjord.
