Holding capacity: approx. 150 ml
Already long before the Viking Age or the Middle Ages, the drinking horn was one of the most common drinking vessels and was not only used to drink the famous mead (honey wine) at hearty feasts.
Our drinking horns / mead horns have been polished on the outside, giving them a very smooth surface. The inside has been coated with a food safe varnish (resists saliva and alcohol).
Please be aware that horn is a natural product, so no two horns are alike. When placing your order, you may leave your colour wishes in the comment field. These will be considered as far as possible. The horn's actual filling capacity may also differ from the indicated volume. Horns of this size can hold approx. 100 ml to 199 ml.
