The Senshi Erai Hito No Katana by BattleBlades is a superior quality, state-of-the-art samurai sword with luxurious koshirae. It features a hand-forged and polished shita-kitae folded 1095 carbon steel blade with wide bo-hi, genuine clay-tempered hamon, and beautiful chu-kissaki.
Top-quality features
The founders of Battle Blades Inc. have several decades of experience with Japanese samurai swords. They want to honour the Japanese samurai culture with their swords, and all details are designed and manufactured with extreme care.
The hardwood tsuka is covered with dyed ray skin and katatemaki-wrapped with brown silk ito. It features silver-plated menukis and silver-lined iron tsuba, kashira, and fuchi.
The sophisticated saya is a true masterpiece. It is made of hardwood, covered with 4 thick layers of black lacquer, and equipped with genuine buffalo horn koiguchi, kojiri, and kurikata. A piece of ray skin has been worked into its upper end, and the brown sageo is made of carefully selected premium grade silk.
Considering these breathtaking details, we can say that this katana is a must-have for any samurai sword fan who has always wanted to own an authentic hand-forged blade. This sword is perfectly balanced and suited for tameshigiri.
