RFB Breastplate

This breastplate is plain but pretty, modeled after originals from the 13. century. The plate rests at the hips and has a small flange--or sword turner--that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armour fit together. Secure the RFB Breastplate by tightening the 4 cm wide leather straps across the back, keeping the breastplate in place over your gambeson.
