Yeah. It's purple. Not only purple, but awesomely purple. 

The Scallion is already one of Kershaw's most popular knives, but they thought they'd step it up once more by giving this folder some great-looking, jewel-tone purple handle scales. So if you've been waiting for a more colorful Scallion, this model just may be the ticket.

The oh-so-handy 2.4-inch (approx. 6 cm) blade stays the same, ensuring that the purple Scallion is right-sized for lightweight and convenient carry in pocket, purse, or backpack. 

The blade is made from 420HC high-carbon stainless steel with good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance. The bead-blasted finish gives the blade a soft, matte look and is easy to maintain, too. The purple Scallion's handle is anodized aluminum over steel liners. Anodizing not only enables the aluminum to take that eye-popping purple color and helps it resist scratching, but also actually strengthens the aluminum, so you get a handle that's strong, lightweight, and colorful.

Like all other models of the Scallion Series, the purple Scallion is equipped with the SpeedSafe ambidextrous assisted opening system. Just pull back on the blade protrusion or push on the thumb stud and the blade moves out of the handle, ready for use.

For safety, the purple Scallion has two locking systems. The locking liner locks the blade open so it can't accidentally close during use. And to ensure that it won't accidentally open during transport, the Scallion is also equipped with a Tip-Lock slider to lock the blade closed when folded.
