This beautiful clasp is a replica of a historical find from Kent, England, which dates back to the 13th to 14th century.
This type of medieval brooch, also known as annular brooch, is a special form or successor of the fibula. These quatrefoil brooches were worn by both men and women in the High Middle Ages, to close the neckline of the cotte.
Whether at medieval markets, re-enactment events or simply in modern everyday life, men and women alike can beautifully complete their garments with this beautiful clasp.
The small medieval brooch is available in bronze or silver plated.
