This beautiful, high-quality Viking wrist cuff or bracer is crafted from thick, dyed vegetable-tanned leather and lined with soft suede on the inside for optimum comfort. It is bordered with domed studs and eyelets made of antiqued brass, and equipped with a sturdy leather cord for proper lacing. The armguard is adorned with knotwork twin serpents or dragons, also made of antiqued cast brass and fastened with rivets. Serpents and dragons, often depicted as double-headed creatures, are a recurring motif in Celtic and Norse/Viking art.
