In the Fantasy world of Game of Thrones®, the Dothraki are a tribe of fierce horsemen who live a nomadic life on the arid central Eastern plains of the continent Essos. Each clan or horde is called a Khalasar and is led by a Khal. The so-called Arakh is the traditional standard weapon of the Dothraki warriors. This fearsome half-sword, half-scythe weapon features a crescent-shaped, sickle-like blade.
This is the Arakh of the notorious warlord Khal Drogo. As undefeated chieftain of an unsually large Khalasar of 40,000 men, Drogo is known to be an unrelenting, ferocious fighter. In the first season of the series, he marries Daenerys ("Dany") Targaryen. Despite his initial reluctance to conquer Westeros with his Khaleesi, he eventually agrees to use his army to help her regain the Iron Throne which once belonged to her father, the Mad King Aerys II. Targaryen. Drogo however gets injured on the journey to the Narrow Sea and dies soon afterwards. His Khalasar desintegrates, leaving his wife with just a mere handful of Dothraki who decide to pledge loyalty to her and stay at her side.
This replica of Kahl Drogo's Arakh is an officially licensed collectible meticulously recreated from the actual prop used on the HBO epic fantasy drama TV show Game of Thrones®. It has been crafted with close attention to detail and no effort was spared to accurately reproduce the authentic features found on the original piece.
Strictly limited to 2500 pieces, each sword is serialized and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a wall mount for display.
