The 58.5 cm long Camillus CARNIVORE MAXX machete with full tang sits comfortably in the hand thanks to its ergonomic, roughened handle made of black ABS plastic with finger recesses. The approximately 41.3 cm long hollow-ground blade made from 420 stainless steel is particularly corrosion-resistant thanks to the additional titanium bonding process and remains sharp for longer thanks to the additional hardness. In addition to a ground barb, there is a 30 cm long quadruple saw grind on the back of the blade, which means the machete can also be used for sawing.
The machete is supplied with a robust sheath, which can be secured with two straps using a press stud.
The tool is ideal for sawing wood, hunting, farming and gardening, for example, or simply as an ideal outdoor survival tool for camping or in the wilderness.

Ich benutze dieses Gerät seit über einer Woche im Wald, um Büsche, Brombeersträucher und Sträucher zu roden. Ein robustes kleines Machete. Es kommt stumpf an, wie sie alle scheinen, also habe ich es geschärft und dieses Ding ist jetzt scharf. Pass auf deine Beine auf, wenn du damit herumfuchtelst, ich hätte mich beinahe verletzt, als ich im Eifer des Gefechts Büsche weggeschnitten habe. Meiner Meinung nach ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Verwandlung
Ich war einmal eine 1,20 Meter große asiatische Frau. Ich griff nach diesem mystischen Objekt und verwandelte mich in einen 1,80 Meter großen kaukasischen Mann mit Vollbart.
Wirksam und handlich
Trotz seiner massiven Größe lässt sich die Machete unglaublich gut handhaben. Die Schärfe ist für eine Machete völlig ausreichend; ein feinerer Schliff würde die Schneide nur schwächer machen. Ich habe einen etwa 5 Zoll dicken Ast in ungefähr 60 Hieben durchtrennt, wobei etwa 30 davon versehentlich danebenlagen. Das ist ziemlich beeindruckend. Den Bauchhaken habe ich noch nicht gebraucht, aber er schneidet durch die Dornensträucher in meinem Garten wie durch Butter. Die Machete ist wirklich groß, was schade ist, da ich sie nicht einfach an meinem Rucksack befestigen und überallhin mitnehmen kann. Vielleicht kaufe ich eine kleinere Version dafür.
Genau richtig
Es war genau wie erwartet und erfüllte meine Erwartungen vollständig.
Not Quite What I Expected
I appreciate the handle and its weight. It's not very sharp, but that can be fixed easily.
I have two issues, one of which is my own misunderstanding. I initially thought a dual-purpose tool for chopping and sawing would be fantastic! However, I realized the flaw when I used it—you can't apply pressure on the back of the saw because of the blade, and it's tricky to push on the back while splitting wood due to the saw teeth. (It's doable with caution. There's a small section at the end without teeth.)
My main problem is with the saw. The teeth aren't spread out like a cross-cut saw, and the blade is just as wide as the saw side. So, after sawing about half an inch, the blade starts getting stuck. The deeper you go, the worse it gets. You end up having to alternate between sawing and chopping.
