Thanks to its slim shaft and medium-weight head, the Ekelund hunting axe is ideal for simple forestry work as well as for skinning game with precision.
This makes this axe the perfect partner for hunting and an ideal gift for anyone interested in hunting. The name of our classic hunting axe comes from Gunnar Ekelund, who, inspired by a stay in the USA (1870-75), pushed axe production on a larger scale.

Like all Hultafors axes, Ekelund is hand-forged and made from quality Swedish steel.

- Wooden handle made of American hickory, treated with linseed oil.
- Convex grind edge.
- Cutting edge is ground, polished and ready for use
