Lynn C. Thompson bought the first knife that custom maker Lloyd Pendleton ever made in 1973. The two went on to be fast friends, and together they collaborated on some of Cold Steel®'s most popular and critically acclaimed hunting knives, the Pendleton Series.
The Pendleton Mini Hunter was designed with one goal in mind: to pare down a functional hunting knife to the smallest size that practicality would allow. Despite its diminutive size and unassuming appearance, this excellent hunting knife is capable of skinning, dressing and processing even large game. The Mini Hunter is an indispensable tool that makes a perfect addition to any hunting pack or survival kit. It comes complete with a tough, weather resistant Secure-Ex® sheath which locks it safely in place while remaining light enough to carry 24 hours a day.
AUS 10A Stainless Steel
AUS 10A is equal in strength and toughness to AUS 8A, but has the extraordinary advantage of an additional 20% in edge-holding ability. This ability to retain a sharp edge for a longer period of time gives it wider performance advantages over other, more common stainless steels.

Nicht aus 3V Stahl
Ich kaufte dieses kleine Messer in der Annahme, dass es aus viel widerstandsfähigerem Stahl namens 3V besteht. Dies wurde im Namen und in der Beschreibung angegeben. Leider besteht es aus Aus10a-Stahl, der zwar gut, aber nicht annähernd so widerstandsfähig und stark ist wie 3V. Trotzdem ein gutes kleines Messer, fühle mich aber getäuscht.
Gute Klinge, aber Verbesserungen nötig
Die Form der Klinge gefällt mir. Die Verarbeitung ist gut. Ich wünschte jedoch, der Griff wäre etwas länger. Ich konnte die Schärfe noch nicht testen, aber der sekundäre V-Schliff gefällt mir nicht. Ein konvexer Schliff wäre besser gewesen. Ich werde das selbst ändern, aber es wäre schön gewesen, wenn das nicht nötig gewesen wäre.
Funktional, zu teuer
Obwohl das Produkt handlich ist, finde ich es überteuert für das, was es bietet.
