J-Cape V4, Gray-Zirc blasted, Thumbstud

The J-Cape V4 is the successor to the much sought-after version 3.5, which features a number of changes. The titanium handles have been contoured in the new version, which makes the knife feel even richer in the hand. Furthermore, the thumb area for unlocking the frame lock has become wider and easier to grip. However, the overall length of the knife has remained the same.The main focus of the V4 is clearly on the inlays of the handle. These inlays, which are screwed in from the inside, give the knife an extra kick in its overall appearance and can be replaced at will (available on SOC's website at www.somethingobscene.us if necessary).

Another innovation are the inlays around the axle screw, the so-called "collars".From the manufacturer, these can be ordered in other versions and exchanged yourself to give the knife an individual touch. The design has also been tidied up, as the screws for the lock insert and the pocket clip have been moved to the inside of the handle.

The drop-point blade is still made of the American powder steel CPM-20CV and has, depending on the version, different blade finishes such as satin, PVD-coated, stonewash finish or blasted. The blade runs smoothly on ceramic ball bearings and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of action!

Pocket clip, backspacer, screws and thumb pin are also made of titanium. Each knife comes with a single so-called "New Style" clip with SOC-typical lightning cut-out and a set of replacement screws. The J-Cape is well protected in a black collector's box. As a small goodie, the Something Obscene Company adds a goodie in the form of a flag.

All knives from SOC are limited and will not be available again once they are sold out! The J-Cape V4 was manufactured by Reate Knives, who are known for their excellent manufacturing quality.
