The Viking Age chest we offer here is hand-crafted from wood and fitted with hinges and side handles made of forged iron. Its front features a hand-carved motif of the Midgard Serpent Jörmungandr, one of the world's tormentors in Norse mythology.
This beautiful piece of furniture takes its inspiration from the wooden chests the Vikings took on board their longships: in order to save space, the chests were not only used to stow cargo and the crew's belongings, but also to sit on when rowing.
Whether as a purely ornamental piece or as a storage unit, this wooden chest is not only a great camp accessory for re-enactment events and LARP gatherings, but will also add a touch of Viking flair to your home décor.

Die Vikinger Truhe sieht super aus es ist alles Handarbeit, die zwei Mängel stören mich überhaupt nicht. Wenn man bedenkt sie würde im Normalfall 300€ kosten und man bekommt sie für 170€. Ist klar ausgeschrieben der Fehler in der Beschreibung. Mich hat es nicht gestört wenn man nicht zwei linke Hände hat kann man selbst. Schönheitsreparaturen Durch führen wenn man mit Holz bißchen Ahnung hat, ich nutze sie für mein Götter Altar zu Hause. Und wenn ich Lager nehme ich sie mit um zeug zu verstauen drauf zu sitzen.
