Decoration pistol with articulated mechanism
– NOT FUNCTIONAL –
Replica of a blunderbuss pistol from the 18th century, also known as an espingole or tromblon pistol. This flintlock pistol featured a distinctive flared muzzle that facilitated the loading of shot into the barrel. In the Age of Sail, this firearm enjoyed great popularity with naval forces and pirates of all kinds. The unostentatious, yet shapely and elegant stock of this muzzleloader replica is made of resin (imitation wood). Except for the elaborate lock, all metal elements (barrel, ramrod and trigger guard) have an antiqued brass finish.
Our firearm replicas are solely intended for re-enactment and decorative purposes. Although the mechanism is fully articulated, this reproduction is not capable of firing. The ramrod cannot be pulled out.
A beautiful item for every collection and an indispensable accessory for re-enactors as well as LARP, carnival and costuming.
