Lord of the Rings Shards of Narsil
Narsil is perhaps the most famous sword in the The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
This mighty sword was once wielded by King Elendil. Until it was shattered in the great battle between Mordor and the Last Alliance of Elves and Men at the end of the Second Age in Middle-earth, when Elendil fell in battle against Sauron. But with a fragment of Narsil, Elendil’s son Isildur severed the finger bearing the One Ring from the hand of the Dark Lord Sauron. The loss of the ring caused Sauron’s body to disintegrate.
The shards of Narsil were guarded by the elves in Rivendell for 3000 years. At the end of the Third Age, the blade was reforged and carried into battle by Aragorn, the rightful heir to the throne of Gondor, under the name Andúril (also Flame of the West).
These miniature shards of Narsil are a must for any Lord of the Rings collection. This beautiful collectible is a detailed replica of the stone statue from Rivendell that holds the shield containing the shards of Narsil. The 1:5 scale figure of the Elven Princess is made of cold cast, hand-painted polyresin and the shards can be removed individually. Bring a piece of Middle-earth into your home with this collectible figurine!
