If you want to store at a medieval market or a LARP-Con, you need not only a medieval tent, but also tent accessories. This consists of pegs, ropes, poles and care products for your historic tent. 

Historic pegs for your medieval tent

In order to be able to set up most medieval tents safely and robustly, you need tent pegs. These are often included in the tent purchase, but it can't hurt to have a few spare pegs with you. To help everyone find what they are looking for, we offer various materials such as wood pegs, steel pegs or iron pegs. These are also available in different sizes. The robust peg of our own brand Ulfberth are also particularly suitable for re-enactment and living history, as they are hand-forged according to historical models.

Tent poles - for a safe stand

In this category you will also find a rich selection of wooden tent poles for your historic tent. Since some medieval fans want to make their own tent poles from wood, the wooden pole is sometimes not included when buying medieval tents. For all our tents, this is indicated in the product text. Our wooden tent poles are very robust. Longer rods can be divided, so that the transport is also easy.

Care products for your historic tent

Also the care of your historical tent should not be forgotten. If you buy a reenactment tent from us, it is already impregnated. At the first downpour, the impregnation agent penetrates into the fabric and spreads. This means that it is only really dense after the first downpour. To make your medieval tent rainproof even before the first storage, you can thoroughly wet it in advance.

However, the impregnation is not only there to protect the interior of the tent from wetness. It also prepares the fabric against UV radiation, which can otherwise make the material brittle, and allows dirt to brush off better. So if the dirt does not enter the material, you can simply knock it off when it is dried. Depending on the weather conditions and frequency of use, a tent should be re-impregnated after about three to four years. If you feel that the tarpaulin of your historic tent is leaking or brittle, then of course it can happen earlier. If you want to enjoy your medieval tent for a long time, impregnating agent should be one of your tent accessories.

Tension ropes and shut-off ropes

An important tent accessory is also rope. For example, you need it as a clamping rope to tighten the tarpaulin of your tent. Our artificial hemp ropes look similar to historical hemp ropes to confuse, but are more robust and durable. Due to their weather-resistant nature, they are also suitable for many outdoor activities, in the home garden or for blocking certain areas. Especially on the medieval market, there are sometimes places to which visitors should not have access, for example for reasons of privacy or so that no one is injured.
