Helt lämplig för uppvisningskamp och autentisk kopia av den välkända hjälmen Olmütz (Tjeckien) från 1000-talet. Originalet finns i Kunsthistorisches Museum i Wien. Dessa hjälmar bars vanligtvis tillsammans med en midjebandsmössa och en kedjemössa. Vi erbjuder därför hjälmen i tre storlekar med tillräckligt utrymme.
Hjälmen är smidd av två halvor av 2 mm tjock stålplåt och svetsad i mitten. Näsbenet är hamrat av 5 mm tjock stålplåt och svetsat till hjälmen. Detta mycket starka nässkydd ger maximal robusthet och därmed bra skydd vid uppvisningsstrid. Näsbenet är rundat nedtill.
Inklusive ett nitat, högkvalitativt och justerbart vadderat inlägg och hakrem av läder.

Good, tough, small, minor defects
For the money very good value. Solid and I think it will take a real beating if tested "in battle". Two minor defects on my helmet though.. at one of the rivets on the side there is a brownish marking, miscoloration - looks like some resin-residue or something. Another defect/issue is that the nasal is a bit misaligned/crooked and not in a perfect straight vertical line - not completely perpendicular to the rim.
Be aware that it is rather small in size, I ordered size Small (since I have a small head, 54-55 cm circumreference), and this helmet (S, max 58 cm) fits just right for me and can't really fit any arming cap or other additional padding underneath... but it feels like it would not be necessary anyway.
In all good, but the inperfections is worth twp stars I think. Thought about giving 4 stars... if I could it would really give 3,5 or so.

Der Helm ist dank des guten Innenfutters sehr angenehm zu tragen. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig und mit einer Stärke von 2 mm bietet er auch beim Schaukampf Schutz.
