Battle Ready Swords

For medieval combat, buhurt and re-enactment, in addition to a skilled swordsman, robust equipment is required that can withstand the rigors of a battle and also meet the safety regulations for injury-free combat. To ensure the greatest possible safety, these battle-ready swords have a rounded tip and a striking edge of 2-3 mm, but are otherwise based on their historical originals.

Battle-ready swords in a historical context

In this category you will find a wide selection of battle-ready swords. In battle, great importance is attached to historically correct equipment, so our battle-ready swords are modelled on historical finds and illustrations. Most of our swords are replicas of medieval swords, including Viking swords, Norman swords and bastard swords. But swordfighters of the early modern period and Roman antiquity can also find suitable weapons.

Which sword is the right one? - Our blade classification for blunt practical swords

It is often not easy for beginners to choose the right sword from the multitude on offer. To make this easier and for a better overview, we have added an blade classification to our battle-ready swords. You can find SK-A, SK-B or SK-C on every battle-ready sword.

SK-A are the highest quality swords. They endure a lot, are well balanced and of a high degree of hardness. However, this quality comes at a price. If you are looking for a cheaper model at the beginning, it is best to look in the SK-B or SK-C class. Swords in this class are also fully battle-ready and are good for the beginner. If you wish to take a closer look at the exact differences, you will find a detailed explanation linked in the individual products.
