The Samurai - the noble and honorable warriors of Japan
Samurai was the term for a Japanese warrior. In our time, this term is used for the warrior class, which was often used as loyal guards and companions of nobles in the 13th century. In the 17th century, due to the establishment of the shogunate, they rose to the leading class up until 1868.
These warriors were strictly bound by their code of honor, the Bushido, and enforced it with unshakeable loyalty to their masters.
