Sturdy Medieval Slip-Over Shirt Wille, lined, natural-coloured
For autumn and winter
This sturdy slip-over shirt made from durable cotton canvas is ideal for the portrayal of men of ordinary walks of life such as peasants, craftsmen or fishermen. It can also be worn under a chainmail haubergeon as an alternative to a gambeson.
Handcrafted details such as wooden buttons and sewn piping give the shirt an individual character. The button placket, split side seams and piped pockets ensure a high wearing comfort. The back is fitted with a straight yoke and about 4 cm longer than the front. It is lined with a light cotton fabric and can also be worn as a jacket.
The shirt is a free interpretation of a medieval artisan's shirt.

How to find the right size:
- To take your body measurements correctly in order to determine you clothing size, please always wrap the measuring tape horizontally around your body at the fullest part.
- For tops, sizes are based on your chest circumference.
- If you happen to fall between two sizes, we recommend that you go up a size.
- Ease is included in the pattern and reflected in the finished measurements.
