With its carbon steel blade and its gorgeous, eye-catching handle made of wood, bone and brass, this hand-crafted Viking Age knife is a uniquely decorative utility knife.
The handle's middle bone part is adorned on both sides with motifs based upon a bronze stamping die found in Torslunda (Öland, Sweden). The grip terminates towards the blade with a brass collar, and the brass butt cap is equipped with a convenient eyelet (for threading a lanyard or drawing the knife from its sheath).
The beautiful tanned leather sheath with ornate brass fittings is equipped with a suspension ring allowing for comfortable belt carry.

Specs may slightly vary from piece to piece.
The steel used here is not rust-proof and might show slight surface tarnishing in places. We recommend you to maintain the blade on a regular basis, for example using Ballistol Universal Oil, which is ideally suited for steel care.
Important notice:
- Although fully functional, the knife has a just slightly sharpened edge which may have to be re-ground to improve sharpness if needed.
- As the knife is fully hand-crafted, the ornaments may slightly vary from piece to piece. Please also keep in mind that bone is a natural product and variations in bone colour and grain are quite common. Each Viking knife has thus its own very unique handle and above pictures are for reference only.
