- battle ready-
This fully battle-ready replica of a medieval, visorless helmet. During tournaments it was often worn underneath a great helm or a simple cloth head dress. During close combat or "normal" battle the great helmets were often discarded as they impeded sight and breathing and were very hot. So often the secret helmet provided the only protection while allowing for best possible vision.
Made from 2 mm steel, the three helmet parts are welded together. At the sides and rear there are holes for easy attachement of a chain mail aventail. This is an inexpensive battle-ready helmet for beginners.
Delivery includes high-quality, adjustable leather inlay with chin strap.
Available in sizes S, M and L.
