Russian M1881 Dragoon Officer Shashka Sabre
Replica of a military shashka of the Russian dragoons 1811 model . The shascka (Circassian for long knife) is a sabre of Caucasian origin. The Cossacks living there still use this traditional sabre as a standard weapon in their cavalry units. It has a wooden handle and a brass handguard with the typical ring at the end
It also comes with a matching, leather-wrapped wooden scabbard with brass fittings.
