This arm protection was worn during the late medieval period and was sewn or knotted to the gambeson.
The RRR chain maille type: This particular mesh is exclusively composed of round rings with round rivet heads. Every single ring was riveted by hand. The weave is 4 in 1. This type is called RRR (Round Ring Riveted).
