Around the 3rd century, the Romans adopted the long and straight double-edged swords of the Germanic people: the Spathae.
This replica is a reconstruction of a spatha from the 3rd century A.D. The blade is forged from steel and the hilt is made of bone.The wooden scabbard is covered with red leather and completed with authentic brass-fittings.
