Roman face mask, tinned brass
Very fine replica of a roman face mask. The master has been found together with an Imperial Gallic 'Face' helmet (product code 1716604901) . The mask is similar to the one found in Kalkriese. Even in medieval times it was popular to wear face masks, i.e. by rich lepers.While the previous model was made from brass and of heavy weight, this one is very well- done and authentic.
The inner site is completely covered with leather. It’s easy to add leather straps to wear the mask attached to a helmet.
