Medieval Tent Herwald, 3 m
With its 3 m diameter, this sturdy and authentic knight's tent offers enough space for 3 occupants with their respective gear. The pelmet makes it a real eye-catcher. The tent can be set up and dismantled in next to no time at all. Due to the high side walls, you have enough stand height at every location of the tent. The large, removable canopy (awning) provides sun and rain protection - with a sufficient entrance height of approx. 1.90 m. The side wall is firmly sewn to the roof, but can also be delivered detachable at a small surcharge.
This is an indispensable piece of equipment for army camps, medieval markets or LARP gatherings.
Manufactured from high quality, sturdy fabric from European production, suitable for long-term use.
Made in Germany
Our tents and tarpaulins have already been waterproofed. In order to maintain / restore the water repellency of your tent or tarp and enjoy its use for a long time, we recommend regular treatment with a waterproofing spray, for example PLUVONIN.
Please note that the tent is specially made according to your wishes. This will result in longer delivery times.

Important information on assembly, handling and maintenance of our historical tents:
You can prolong the life of your Viking tent, Roman tent, Saxon tent, Knights tent, medieval tent, trade tent or medieval market stall and enjoy its use for a further long time by observing the following precautions:
Putting the tent up is a fairly easy task that can be completed quickly and stress-free. The poles can be adjusted in length to suit your needs. When pitching the tent, please make sure that the ropes connecting roof angles and pegs continuously follows the lines of the tent's seams and that the pegs are properly aligned with the tent's bottom corners or loops. Do not overstretch the ropes, for natural materials such as wood or cotton alter under the influence of air humidity and need space to contract and expand. You may thus avoid e.g. that the roof holes for the poles get distended and ultimately facilitate water ingress. We recommend slightly slackening the ropes in the evening, for air humidity considerably rises at night and may increase the risk of excessive stress exerted on your tent. The ropes should also be somewhat slackened in rain or high atmospheric humidity.
When setting up the side wall, it is best to start with the tent opening side. As an additional preventive measure against moisture and mould, the tent walls should as possible not quite touch the ground (this does not apply to tents with groundsheet). If the tent has been exposed to humidity, we strongly advise you to dry it after use, as it is otherwise likely to mould. Wooden poles should never be wrapped in plastic or the like. Once the poles are dry, a cotton cloth is perfectly sufficient. Do not, on any account, use detergents or any other cleaning products to clean your tent. The best way to remove dried out dirt is to use a brush. As for the storage of your tent over an extended period of time, please separate all accessories (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent itself and preferably pack everything separately. Make sure that all items are dry and stored in a dry place.
