After their stay in Lothlórien, the rest of the Fellowship of the Ring received special gifts from Galadriel and Celeborn. Aragorn was given this elaborately crafted dagger. On the blade the following Tengwar-runes are engraved in Sindarin – the language of the Grey Elves: Gûd daedheloth (= Foe of the Morgoth's Realm).
This authentically detailed collectible is an officially licensed reproduction of the actual filming prop used in the The Lord of the Rings trilogy. United Cutlery, industry leader in fine movie reproductions, has meticulously recreated the prop knife using only the finest grade materials and craftsmanship. Close attention to detail was a top priority. The Elven knife has an overall length of approx. 49.8 cm. The blade is made of stainless steel and, like the original, bears the elvish inscription. Also included is a replica of the scabbard, which is wrapped in leather and has solid metal fittings.
Delivery includes a wall display plaque made of wood and a certificate of authenticity.
