This Escort is a cool pocket knife from Kizer, designed by Dirk Pinkerton. What immediately stands out is the locking mechanism. In fact, the Escort has what Kizer calls a clutch lock. This is their version of the Axislock. A very nice mechanism that we mainly know from Benchmade. You open the blade easily via the thumb rests.
Kizer has chosen 154CM blade steel for this version. This is a good, stainless steel grade that stays sharp for a long time and is also easy to sharpen yourself.
The handle of the Kizer Escort is made of Micarta. A robust material that is light and very durable. The deep-carry pocket clip allows you to carry the knife in your trouser pocket.
