Its spear point blade uses high-performance CPM 154 blade steel for a reliable cutting edge. The full-flat grind sharpens reliably every time for a thin, slicey edge. Use the Launch 18 effectively with the ergonomic, contoured design. Kershaw even added extra touches like a gray-anodized handle coating, a ceramic bead-blasted titanium pivot trim ring, and an integrated backspacer. A reversible, deep-pocket pocketclip makes this lightweight auto just perfect.

Nevertheless, the switchblade knives which meet all above-mentioned conditions (and are thus legal) still remain classified as weapons under the German law on weapons (Waffengesetzes, short WaffG). Under these terms, the required minimum age for the purchase, possession and use of such knives is fixed at 18 years old. Additionally, the legal carrying/transportation of such knives in public places is also subject to specific conditions (§ 42a of the WaffG).
Due to the many and varied laws that govern the switchblade knives' purchase, possession, use and carrying/transportation, please make sure to seek proper advice from the competent authority in your country in order to comply with all local and state regulations.
