JOHN LEE Katana Saigo Takamori
Saigo Takamori, the last Samurai, ended the long Samurai tradition in 1877. He was unwilling to accept the political situation that was doing away with the samurai altogether and started an armed uprising against the military arm of the new government. The military however, was using modern fire weapons, and the samurai never stood a chance.
