Historical Cup from Clay, without Handle
This (coffee-) cup had been thrown on the potter’s wheel the same way as it has been done in former times. By means of archeological institutes, historical preservation agencies and museums it was possible to reconstruct this historical cup. It’s made from ochery clay which has been fired at a heat of 1.200°C.
Due to hygienic matters it’s glazed at the inside. The bottle-green glaze was very “stylish” especially in the 16th Century.
The cup is food-safe and dishwasher safe.
Hand-made in Germany without industrial assistance! Historical and authentic!
