Tactical Tanto
A modern Samurai Tactical knifeHanwei´s Tactical Tanto is an updated interpretation of the Samurai fighting knife. It is a classic blade with modern construction, based on the blade geometry and superb cutting ability of the Paul Chen Raptor series Tanto, but with full-tang construction for ultimate blade strength. The 5160 high carbon spring steel blade is plasma-coated for corrosion protection and the checkered Kraton handle provides a sure foul-weather grip.
The fiberglass scabbard construction avoids water absorption and reduces carrying weight, while several lanyard holes and the included Paracord provide carrying and backpack attachment options. The matching Tactical Katana (Product no. SH2462) and Tactical Wakizashi (Product no. SH2432) are also available to complete your collection.

Guter praktischer Tanto
Ich habe mir die Tag den Hanwai Tactical Tanto bestellt und sehr schnell und gut verpackt erhalten, vielen Dank dafür für erst mal. Vor dem Kauf habe ich telefonische eine sehr gute Beratung erhalten. Der Tanto ist sehr gut verarbeitet und liegt gut in der Hand. Die Saya ist praktisch, aber nicht für das schnelle ziehen und das zurückführen der Klinge ausgelegt. Die Klinge ist scharf geschliffen und am Ende schmal und sehr spitz ausgeführt. Die Klingenform ähnelt der alten Tantoform in der Hein-Zeit ohne Tsuba mit einer Klingenlänge ca. 28 cm und einer Klingenstärke ab Mitte bis Habaki ca. 6 mm stark. Die Klingenspitze Kissaki ist sehr schmal und spitz ausgeführt und diente den Samurai früher zum stechen in die Lügen der Samurai Rüstungen. Ein praktisches gut verarbeitetes modernes Tanto.
