This historically inspired leather belt pouch is the perfect choice for LARP, re-enactment, cosplay or as a stylish addition to your medieval garb. Combining authentic design with a practical layout, it offers plenty of space for all the essentials you want to keep close at hand.
It is modelled on a historic leather find discovered in the Dutch city of Dordrecht, after which this belt bag is named. The original dates from the late 14th to the early 15th century. Its shape and construction are based on the original find, making it an excellent choice for late medieval re-enactment.
Thanks to the sturdy, generous belt loops, the bag can be securely and comfortably attached to a belt. It features three separate compartments in total. The two side pouches are fastened with leather drawstrings finished with decorative wooden beads, making them ideal for storing smaller items. The spacious main compartment easily accommodates everyday essentials such as a mobile phone, keys or wallet.
A particular highlight is the large front flap, embossed with a diamond pattern that creates the appearance of quilted leather. Circular ornaments within the diamonds, as well as two fleur-de-lis motifs, enhance the design. The bag is fastened using a leather loop and a high-quality brass buckle.
