Brown Bess is the popular term used to designate a series of flintlock infantry muskets which remained in use in the British Army from ca. 1722 to the end of the Napoleonic Wars. A bayonet, which could be compared to a short sword in terms of length, was often used on these muskets for close combat.

This authentic replica of the Brown Bess bayonet is made of steel. The included scabbard is crafted from leather and comes with a carrying strap made of fabric.

A beautiful addition to any collection and an essential accessory for re-enactors of this time period.

In order to attach this bayonet to your musket/rifle, modifications may need to be made to the locking device by an expert gunsmith.
