Blue River Skinner, Hunting Knife, Condor

The design of the Blue River Skinner by Condor is inspired by the Indians of North America. Although this fixed knife is visually very appealing and certainly has its charm as a collector's item, it was by no means conceived as a "showcase keeper", but rather as a powerful knife for skinning game killed during hunting.

The Full-Tang knife has a sharpened drop-point blade with a strongly curved belly. It is made of 440C stainless steel and is therefore ideal for off-road use - even in wet conditions. The blade still shows traces of forging, which give the knife a rustic look. Decorative filing work on the back completes the special look of the blade.

The walnut handle is attached to the blade with 2 pins. Especially beautiful are the handle inlays of reconstituted turquoise (pieces of turquoise sealed with synthetic resin), which are supposed to remind of the Blue River (a tributary of the Colorado) and give the skinning knife its name. The tang protrudes approx. 5 mm from the handle and has a hole for the included leather lanyard with a large wooden bead.

A beautiful, handmade scabbard made of strong leather with belt loop (max. belt width approx. 6.5 cm), decorative buffalo hunting scene and colorful cloth band with Indian pattern is included.

For hunters, bushcrafter and other outdoor enthusiasts, Condor's Blue River Skinner is a great, powerful companion that stands out from the crowd with its stylish, traditional look.

Condor Tool & Knife traces its proud history back to 1787, the year Gebr. Weyersberg Company was founded in Solingen, Germany. In 1964, the Solingen company expanded operations to El Salvador, and in 2004, a first-quality line of machetes and knives was developed for the European and North American markets. Condor Tool & Knife (CTK) was born. Meanwhile, the Condor products have proven their worth in extreme conditions time and time again and rank today among the most popular products of their kind.
