Bisonte Knife, Condor
The Bisonte Knife is inspired by the animals that live on the meadows and plains of North America and Europe, of different species but who share a common, strong look. The blade of the Bisonte Knife resembles the rough and rustic aspect of the animal and places where it lives. Its dark wood handle is inspired by bison skin. Three brass pins lock the black walnut wood and two liners bring contrast with red and white, with the steel shown through its full tang spine. A very comfortable tool, made in 1095 HC steel, with a Scandi grind and dimensions that make it quite versatile, ideal for bushcraft and outdoors.

Inferior quality steel
After the initial positve impression (see below), I have to retract my review. Last weekend I put the knife to the test with some pine, ash and birchwood. (Not very hard wood). But I was quite shocked how many chippings came of the knife's edge. This steel is very brittle (not tough enough) and not suitable for bushcraft. Not even a cheap mora knife shows the same brittleness. I know what I am talking about, I have over 30 knives and been active in bushcraft for 10 years and I am a bushcraft instructor.)

It has tough 1095HC steel and feels very balanced in my (large) hands.
It is a little larger and heavier than most bushcraft knives, but that is exactly wat is so fantastic about this knife. For batoning en feathersticks is is super! An the leather sheath with fire-steel loop is excellent quality and look nice on your belt too! Due to the scandi grind, the blade is also easy to sharpen.
Tolles Messer, aber einige Mängel
Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Hervorragende Ergonomie und Design, aber ein paar Probleme! Mein Griff war sehr gut verarbeitet, mit den Stiften nur leicht über der Oberfläche der Walnuss-Schalen. Alles andere am Griff war perfekt. Allerdings war der Schliff nicht so gerade und gleichmäßig, wie ich es mir gewünscht hätte. Es gab ein paar Vertiefungen im Schliff und einige raue Stellen an der Kante. Mit etwa anderthalb Stunden Arbeit mit Diamant- und Keramiksteinen habe ich die meisten Probleme beseitigt. Trotz dieser Mängel liebe ich das Messer und würde es wieder kaufen. Seien Sie sich jedoch bewusst, dass es basierend auf dem Messer, das ich erhalten habe, und anderen dokumentierten Bewertungen möglich ist, dass es einige Probleme gibt. Es ist nicht die Qualität anderer mittelklassiger Messer wie beispielsweise von Esee oder Buck, aber es ist trotzdem ein cooles Messer, das ich gerne gekauft habe. Übrigens... Die Scheide ist absolut hervorragend, viel besser als bei meinen vielen Esse-, Buck- oder Case-Messern.
