Product information "Ivanhoe Sword, Marto"
Ivanhoe sword
Ivanhoe, loved by the beautiful Rebeca, daughter of Isaac of York the Jew, will defend with his sword and spear her innocence against the accusations from the Great Master of the Templar, of being possessed by the devil and having set a love enchantment on the Templar knight Brian of Bois-Guilbert. Disinherited and banished by his father Cedric the Saxon, for swearing his love to Lady Rowenta, the young noble man Ivanhoe left to the crusades with Richard the Lion-heart. On coming back from Holy Land, he was involved as a Richard supporter in his war against Prince John. Eventually, Cedric admits his son's intentions of getting married with Lady Rowenta, and the wedding took place in the York cathedral in presence of the King. This marriage set the end of fights between Saxons and Normans whose enmity came from the time William the Conqueror conquered England.
