Springfield Bayonet with Scabbard

The Springfield rifles, which were manufactured in the eponymous Springfield Armory in Massachusetts, were part of the standard armament of US troops. A bayonet for close combat was often used on these rifles, the length of which could be compared to short swords.

This authentic replica of the Springfield bayonet is made of steel. The included scabbard is made of leather and has brass fittings and a leather loop for attachment to the belt.

A beautiful item for every collector, and an indispensable accessory for re-enactors.

It is possible that you (or an experienced locksmith) can modify the locking mechanism in order to install this bayonet on your musket / rifle.
