Jack-chains, 2mm steel, pair
2mm thick steel hand-crafted Jack-chains for sewing, fiddling, riveting or lacing to the Gambeson-sleeves.
These Jack-chains were an important part of infantry armors in late medieval. The foot soldiers usually weren’t protected by plate armors, but wore a padded doublet, so called arming-jack or Gambeson. The jack-chains were fastened to the sleeves of the jacket to protect the arms against cuts.
