Medieval front laced ankle shoes Very solid reconstruction of medieval front laced ankle shoes.
This kind of shoes were common in Europe from late Dark Ages up to late medieval.
The 2mm-thick upper leather is sewn using a turnshoe-style edge/flesh butt seam. The sole is made of several layers cowhide leather. This modern construction allows for an authentic turn-shoe "look", while offering more stability and durability. Details: - solid leather (ca. 2mm thick) - nailed leather sole(ca. 4-5mm thick) - colour: dark-brown Different sizes available.
